Dear Colleagues,

Following the release of this year’s ARC results in the DECRA and Discovery rounds, the CSAA will be holding a workshop for those intending to submit applications for Cultural Studies projects ahead of the next deadline. It will be held at the University of Queensland, December 10, from 2-5pm. This workshop is intended to supplement the more general information often provided by university seminars, by providing information and advice more specifically aimed at people working in the area of Cultural Studies.

The workshop will be led by Joanne Tompkins, a member of the College of Experts, Gay Hawkins, Director of the Centre for Critical and Cultural Studies, and Tom O’Regan, Professor of Media and Cultural Studies at UQ. It is open to anyone planning to submit ARC applications for Cultural Studies-based projects, but rsvps are essential as places are limited. All effort will be made to record this session and to post it on the CSAA website for the benefit of CSAA members not resident in the Brisbane area.

To register your attendance at this session, please email Elizabeth Stephens: e.stephens at uq.edu.au<mailto:e.stephens at uq.edu.au>
