The Queensland University of Technology, Australia, is offering prestigious Vice-Chancellor’s Research Fellowships for talented early and mid-career researchers, particularly looking for expertise in Digital Media, Communication and Culture and Sustainability and Innovation in Design.

Vice-Chancellor’s Research Fellows will have an opportunity to develop and enhance their academic record and make a significant contribution to QUT’s research outcomes.

In addition to competitive remuneration:

Postdoctoral Fellow (Level B, Step 1): $78,542 - $93,277*
Research Fellow (Level C, Step 1): $96,218 - $110,959*

plus superannuation benefits of 17% per annum, Fellows will receive a $20,000 research support grant and can apply for other grant schemes funded by QUT.

QUT received a “5” in the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) evaluations for Communication and Media Studies. It is the equal highest ranked university in Australia in this field, with research that is ‘well above world standard’.

* Fellows will normally be appointed at Step 1 of the relevant academic salary scale, and will increment each year for the duration of the fellowship subject to satisfactory performance.
