PRism journal's special issue on gender and public relations is now available free online at http://www.prismjournal.org/gender.html

Edited by Christine Daymon (Murdoch University) and Kristin Demetrious (Deakin University), this trans-disciplinary special issue was the winning entry in the 2010 PRism Prize for special issue editorship. It contains a broad selection of new research and theory-building articles, commentaries, book reviews, and reports on gender from the public relations industry, making a multi-perspectival contribution to a topic that has previously had limited attention. Read the entire issue free at http://www.prismjournal.org/gender.html

* Reminder: segmentation articles deadline. The 2011 PRism prize-winning call for papers on public relations and segmentation is at http://www.prismjournal.org/segment_cfp.html. Submissions close January 28, 2011. The editors Natalie Tindall and Jennifer Vardeman-Winter are seeking research that explores new facets and approaches to conceptualising and segmenting publics.

* Entries for the 2012 PRism Prize close June 30, 2011. Innovative special issue proposals are encouraged. If you are interested in creating an issue on a public relations or communication topic close to your heart, please see the entry form at: http://www.prismjournal.org/prism_prize.html
