AWGSA conference "Emerging Spaces: New Possibilities in Critical Times"
Adelaide 29 June - 2 July 2010

Conference Registration:  Earlybird registration closes Friday 30 April 2010

Please note that everyone presenting papers needs to be a member of AWGSA.
 The membership cost is included in the conference fee, with a cheaper
rate for
those who are already members or who are not presenting papers.

Volunteers:
We are seeking volunteers to provide some general assistance during the
conference. Volunteers will not be required to pay registration fees in
exchange for their services.  Please note that there are a limited number
of volunteer positions available.  Please email your details to
AWGSAConference at flinders.edu.au with the subject heading 'Attention:
Volunteer'.

Fee Release Scholarships:
A limited number of needs-based fee relief scholarships are available to
assist post graduates to attend the conference.  We invite applications
from both Indigenous and non-Indigenous students.
A grant from the Australian Critical Race and Whiteness Studies
Association will be used to support the involvement of Indigenous
participants.
Inquiries about financial support for conference attendance should be
e-mailed to: AWGSAConference at flinders.edu.au with the subject heading:
'Attention: Conference support'. Applicants will be notified about the
outcome of their application before the end of April.

Public Lecture:
In association with the conference Dr Aileen Morton-Robinson will deliver
the inaugural South Australian Women’s Studies and Gender Studies Public
Lecture on Thursday, 1 July 2010 in the Alan Scott Auditorium in the Hawke
Building at the University of South Australia's City West campus.
