[csaa-forum] Screening The Trial

The Media and Security Cultures Symposium will hold a screening of ŒThe
Trial¹ on Friday March 26, 5pm at Melbourne¹s Kino Cinema.

The Trial has been banned for broadcast in Victoria. This is the first
public screening of the documentary in that state. ŒThe Trial¹ follows two
men intimately connected with Australia¹s largest terrorism trial, Greg
Barns, a defence lawyer and Omar Merhi, brother of one of the accused.

Seats are limited; a confirmed booking is essential. The screening will be
followed by Q&A session with Greg Barns and the director, Joan Robinson.

The Media and Security Cultures Symposium is sponsored by La Trobe
University¹s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Institute for
Human Security.
