The University of Wollongong seeks a suitably qualified candidate to play a leadership role in the Faculty of Law as Director of the Legal Intersections Research Centre. The successful candidate will have an international reputation for outstanding research and scholarship and will possess the skills and experience required to further the Faculty of Law's commitment to interdisciplinarity in all aspects of our operations: research and scholarship; teaching and learning; and community engagement.

Since its establishment in 1990 the UOW Faculty of Law has developed a reputation for a high quality LLB program, unique interdisciplinary postgraduate coursework programs, and excellence in applied and interdisciplinary research. Over the last decade the Faculty's Legal Intersections Research Centre has positioned the University of Wollongong at the forefront of interdisciplinary legal research in Australia, with a focus on research 'at law's edges', addressing themes of justice, pluralism, freedom, reason, vulnerability, deliberative democracy and human rights.
