Reminder - anyone interested in presenting at, or attending, an extra 
meeting of the Bible & Critical Theory Seminar in Perth on Sat 13th

Dear colleagues,

Abstracts and expressions of interest are invited for the 13th Bible 
and Critical Theory Seminar. The seminar is an informal scholarly 
gathering in a pub, devoted to discussion of the intersection of 
critical theory and biblical studies. After recent gatherings in 
Melbourne and Auckland, an extra session will be held in Perth on 
Saturday the 13th of December. Papers are welcome on any relevant 
topic: 
Marxist, feminist, postcolonial, queer, ecocritical etc. readings of 
biblical texts; the ‘turn to religion’ in Continental thought and/or 
the new Paulinism of Badiou, Zizek and the like; the influence, use 
and abuse of the Bible in contemporary cultural and literary texts, 
etc.
