Mobile Publics Conference, Federation Square: 3-5 October 2008
Multimedia Program: 3-8 October 2008
USM08: Mobile Publics is a major international conference that will explore
the changing relations between media, culture and cities. Mobile Publics
will address the new forms of public participation and interaction created
by media-dense environments. By engaging a wide range of stakeholders with
distinctive interests in media and public space, the conference will promote
new multi-disciplinary frameworks for understanding innovative public uses
of technology, media and art in contemporary cities.
