ANZCA08 is gearing up for Wellington, Aotearoa, from July 9-11... and we've got a space for you!  So remember the second round deadline for ANZCA08 papers is next Monday, April 14.

Professor Ngatata Love will open the conference with a welcome address and indigenous insights on Power and Place.
Professor Maxwell McCombs will confront "Assumptions, Myths and Traditions: Challenging the Inertia Principle in Communication Research."
Professor Jennifer Craik will take us on a fascinating tour of the power of mediated image to shape political fortunes.
Nicky Hager will challenge our assumptions with his latest powerful investigative research.
Professor Karen Ross will host a panel of powerful politicians and launch her new journal, Communication, Culture and Critique.
Professor Colleen Kelley will launch her new book, Post-9/11 American Presidential Rhetoric: A Study of Protofacist Discourse
Professor McCombs and other experienced supervisors will share their secrets for success in postgraduate research supervision

Important dates

April 14: Final versions of refereed papers are due.  This is also the final date for the second round of refereed papers. (The first round of refereeing has passed, but you can submit new full papers to the second round.)

June 6: Early Bird Registration Closes (Discounts for registrations received by 6th June 2008, otherwise standard registration fee applies). Visit http://anzca08.massey.ac.nz<http://anzca08.massey.ac.nz/> to register.

June 9: Final date for non-refereed submissions. Send an abstract only.
