The Fryer Library, The University of Queensland Library, and the Faculty
of Arts, The University of Queensland are now calling for applications
for the 2008 Fryer Library Awards.
	
The Award aims to provide successful applicants with institutional
support and affiliation to the Faculty of Arts at The University of
Queensland to undertake research in Australian literature, history and
culture utilising the collections of the Fryer Library. Applications are
particularly invited in the following areas:

    * Indigenous studies
    * History of architecture
    * Art and design
    * Theatre and literary studies

The amount of the award is $10,000.
