Dear CSAA Members,
This is a formal call for expressions of interest from institutions wishing
to host the Cultural Studies Association of Australasia¹s Annual Conference
for 2008.
Keeping in mind that the conference regularly attracts some 150-250
academics, you should include in your bid some provisional details as to the
proposed location for the conference, the level of institutional support you
expect to receive and the theme you have in mind, and also some suggestions
as to which keynote speakers you would wish to invite.
Please submit bids by the 30th of April 2007 to me, via the above email, and
also cc them to CSAA Secretary Belinda Morrissey, on:
Belinda.Morrissey at canberra.edu.au.
Feel free to contact me with any questions about the sorts of things hosting
a CSAA conference involves. It¹s fun.
ciao
Paul
(The 2007 conference is on the theme of Sustaining Culture¹ and will be
hosted by UniSA, in Adelaide, over December 6th, 7th and 8th, 2007. Look out
for updates at http://www.csaa.asn.au/events/annual.php , and via this
discussion list)
