Vibewire e-Festival of Ideas Coordinator

The e-Festival of Ideas is an online conference for young Australians,
dedicated to  giving young people the opportunity to explore what they're
passionate about. Based   around three festival streams of pulse (politics
and opinion), life (lifestyle and entertainment) and create (creative
expression), the e-Festival of Ideas brings young people and leading figures
together around forums, online publishing platforms, image and short film

Pulse (politics & opinion) Section Editor

If you've been looking for an opportunity to make an impact on Australia's
politics, ideas and media landscape, this is your chance. Over the past few
years, Pulse has sent writers into the Federal Budget Media LockUp, arranged
interviews with leading thinkers, and published articles on everything from
the race debate to corporate law reform. Pulse contributors have gone on to
write and work for organisations including the ABC and The Age. We're
looking for someone with vision, drive and loads of ideas to take the

Want to make a real difference in the field of community media, while
building your skills and contacts and gaining firsthand leadership
experience at the same time? As Vibewire.net Promotions Coordinator it will
be your job to hone the promotion of Vibewire.net and related projects and
grow our audience, developing and implementing and multi-faceted marketing
and promotions strategy. This is a 2 day per week position based in Sydney
