"Sound Scripts" (2006) features refereed papers and artist presentations from the Inaugural Totally Huge New Music Festival Conference held in Perth, Western Australia, in 2005, mounted by Edith Cowan University (including the WA Academy of Performing Arts) & Tura New Music. Keynote papers included Annea Lockwood and Liza Lim.

Essays in "Sound Scripts" (2006) cover different areas of contemporary practice in New Music and Sound Art, as well as historical reviews of the 20th century avant-garde and the continuing relevance of these histories for practitioners of today (Fluxus, musique concrete, Grainger, Futurism, zaum & Klebnikov, etc).
