INFORMATION ABOUT CCR

At the CCR we believe that higher degree research should not only be an
individual effort but a work of connection and relation. To this end we
encourage interdisciplinary research that addresses important problems
in today's complex and shifting cultural landscape. Research at the CCR
falls under five broad themes:

* Cultural diversity and community relations

* Urban development in cultural perspective

*        Art, culture and heritage

* Cultures of media, technology and environment

*        Transnational connections

Research at CCR blurs the boundaries between theory and practice by
emphasising not only traditional scholarly approaches but also engaged
collaboration with community, industry and government. To this end, we
encourage and assist higher research degree students to build networks
that provide strong career opportunities in their field of expertise.

Benefits of studying for a higher research degree at CCR include:

* Expert supervision in their chosen area

* Lively and supportive intellectual environment

* Master classes taught by leading international cultural
researchers

universities

etc.

research costs
