MACS RELAUNCH

April 8

UQ Staff Club 

4.30pm

The monthly meeting of Brisbane Media and Cultural Studies postgrads and
Early Career Researchers will officially re-launch on Friday April 8 with
drinks from 4.30pm at the Staff Club, University of Queensland. This year
we're aiming to meet on a monthly basis switching between the Staff Club at
UQ and the Normanby Hotel down the road from QUT. We're also planning a
couple of one off events each semester aimed at sharing career skills and
current debates in the field - the details of which will be decided on your
ideas - so come along and offer thoughts on who you'd like to hear speak
about what.

The relaunch will also be a chance to meet a bunch of new students and staff
to have started working in Brisbane over summer. If you know of anyone who
may be interested in coming along, please let me know and/or pass on this
message.
