Associate Lecturer in Film and Television Studies
The School of English, Media Studies and Art History is a large
research-intensive unit with 36 full time academic staff and an
international reputation for outstanding research in Art History, Australian
Studies, Communication, Media and Cultural Studies (including film and
television studies), Creative and Professional Writing, Drama, Linguistics,
Literary Studies and Women's Studies.
In the role of Associate Lecturer in Film and Television Studies your
primary responsibility will be to engage in team teaching of undergraduate
courses in the Film and Television Major. Some teaching in Communication and
Cultural Studies and Media Studies may also be required.
You should possess a PhD in the area of Film and Television Studies or
related disciplines of Media Studies, and Communication and Cultural
Studies, together with experience in undergraduate teaching in these areas.
This is a fixed term, full-time appointment at Academic Level A. The
remuneration package will be in the range of $45,604 - $61,859 per annum,
including employer superannuation contributions of 9%.
