[csaa-forum] the 'left leaning' Bolt

hi Louise,
thanks for the reference. a number of things interest
me here:
1. why is his past as media adviser to bob hawke in
the bulletin article referred to so fleetingly? bolt
argues in a number of interviews that he is a voice of
the centre, against both the extreme left and right,
so any reference to this past would seem to support
this position. (if anyone has information about this
aspect of his career could they please let me know).
2. it is interesting that this aspect of his past is
not mentioned in the right wing think tank interviews
but is in the 'popular' bulletin. this suggest he
doen't have to try and convince other conservatives of
his impartiality.
3. in relation to the bulletin article, i assume bolt
wouldn't be too happy with it. miranda devine, who
wasn't interviewed, was given a number of pages, while
bolt, who was interviewed, was given only a tiny
space.
cheers tim.
